I'm Peter, the photographer behind Pistol Pete's Photography. Since I was a child, I've loved taking pictures.

To me, pictures are evidence that we really lived. They're what we get to keep to remember good times and the people we love. 

My life took some turns I didn't plan for it to take, and in the process, I learned to appreciate photographs in a way most people don't. 

I was a star athlete in high school, heading toward a college scholarship, when I got into a fight that sent me to prison. My life changed dramatically. Suddenly pictures were all I had to keep me connected to the world beyond bars. I'm now free, reformed, sober, and committed to giving clients the gift and joy of pictures. I especially love photographing sports.
